Friends of the Farm

Decor, DIY, Entertaining, Farm Life, Gardening, How-Tos, Interior Design

One of the many rules I live by in life is: sharing is caring. It would be inconsiderate of me to know that there is inspiration out there on the world wide web and not let you in on it, right?! That is why today I’m so excited to share some special friends with you.

These fellow home decor, DIY, and farm life bloggers are some of the kindest and most talented ladies I know. They are also some of my favorite bloggers on the planet.

We’ve got some fun and exciting things planned to share with you collectively in the future, which is why I want to make sure you get to know them today.

Each of these bloggers has unique and inspiring content to share. In a world where there are so many bloggers, my hope is that by highlighting each of these exceptional ladies you may find things about their blogs that you are passionate about. So much so that you may also like to follow their blogs too.

Let’s get started, shall we… You can thank me later!

When I saw this woman’s tag line for her blog, “Home is where the heart is (and the bra isn’t)” I immediately fell in love with Jen at A Little Dose of Jen. She is a mom, a wife, and she makes me smile daily. Along with her sarcasm, her sense of humor, her beautiful heart, and her husband’s dad jokes, Jen shares her lovely home, great DIY projects, and so much more on her blog.  She is incredibly talented and what I love most about Jen is that she keeps it real; real funny. Life is too short to be too serious.

My girl, Kelly at City Girl Meets Farm Boy is my kindred sister. We met through Instagram and became fast friends. She is such an inspiration to me. Kelly had never picked up a tool until a few years ago. Now you should see what she has done, it’s amazing! Kelly is the queen of DIYs. From shelving, garden boxes, feature walls, and so much more, Kelly proves that it’s never too late to try something new. On her blog, she shares that with the right tools, some guidance, and some confidence you can do anything you set your mind to. She is a mom, a wife, and the best cheerleader you’ll ever know. She’s also got incredible patience and a gift for showing how to make things in a way that makes sense.  If you have always dreamt about DIY, you need to check out Kelly’s blog!

Jenn at Down Shiloh Road, where “a little dirt don’t hurt,” is a fellow hobby farm enthusiast. She’s a wife and mom, not only to her beautiful children but to chickens, kitties, and goats too.  Jenn is an absolute sweetheart and she is the queen of antiquing. She has got some of the most beautiful vintage collections I’ve ever seen and she styles them to perfection in her beautiful home. The vignettes Jenn creates are what my dreams are made of and she’s an incredible photographer too.  She shares DIYs, gardening tips, recipes, and so much more on her blog. If you are looking for down-home inspiration, look no further than Jenn’s beautiful blog!

Kaycie at Grey Birch Design is an incredibly talented designer and DIYer. She is a mom and a wife and will tackle pretty much any home remodel project she can get her hands on. Talk about inspiring! On her blog, she shares her latest projects, interior and exterior design, and great products to use in projects or to use in styling your home. Makeovers and remodels are her jam and she shares all her inspiration on her blog. You won’t want to miss any of it!

My friend, Deborah, at Hip and Humble Style, has a gorgeous blog filled with tons of home decor, DIY, and fashion inspiration. She styles her home beautifully and shares the simple and affordable ways she does it. I adore her lovely kitchen and her tablescapes are some of my favorites. Deborah’s beautiful eye for design is always so inspiring to me. She is great at sharing tips and sources for her design projects too. You don’t want to miss out on all the beauty she shares on her blog!

If you love shiplap, you’re going to love Bethany and her beautiful blog, Shiplap Addict where she shares her beautiful home (with lots of shiplap), styling tips, tons of love, and so much more. Bethany is a mom, a wife, and a grandmother. Fun fact, Bethany and Jen (A Little Dose of Jen) do a podcast together! I love Bethany’s passion for home and making it a place filled with beauty, happiness, and love. She achieves this in her own home through styling tips, DIYs, and product shares. Be sure to check out her lovely blog!

I feel a special connection to Rachel. Like me and my family, Rachel and her family uprooted from suburbia and moved to the country. On her beautiful blog, Sugar Maple Farmhouse, Rachel shares her family’s farm life adventures, projects, recipes, gardening tips, animals, and more… sound familiar?! She has got a gorgeous farmhouse, the sweetest animals, and a lovely property. Rachel is incredibly talented and I love what she shares on her blog… I think you will too!

All of these blogs are sure to provide you with lots of inspiration throughout the year, whether you are a home decor lover, a DIYer, or you love farm life. I am inspired by them daily and I think you will be too. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!
