With spring just around the corner, I wanted a rug for the entry that would refresh the room. I was looking for something to lighten and brighten the space and literally welcome spring to the farmhouse.

We have light walls and darker wood floors so I wanted a rug that would add a seasonal pop of color while at the same time complimenting the color palette of the room.

Revival Rugs: It’s All In The Details

From the start of my experience with Revival rugs, I was impressed. After ordering my rug I received a thank you email followed by updates regarding the delivery, which was very timely. Upon the arrival of the rug, I was very pleasantly surprised. 

The rug was not delivered as many rugs are, rolled up. It was beautifully boxed and clearly packaged with care. This feature was so impressive. Oftentimes, rugs arrive rolled up and wrapped in plastic. Typically, this method of shipping requires a lot of effort and space just to open the rug upon arrival. This type of packaging also adds to the accessive plastic waste in our world today. Once the rug is unwrapped and unrolled, it often needs to be re-roll in the opposite direction so that it will lay flat and the corners don’t curl up. It can be a real process!

However, this was not the case with my new Banafsheh, Revival rug. After taking it out of the box and unfolding it in the entry, it laid out perfectly on the floor.

Once the rug was on the floor, it was then that my heart skipped a beat. I stepped back to look at it. I was filled with so much happiness because the rug looked just the way I wanted it to in the space. This is a testament to Revival. The photos on their website were very true to the way the rug looks in person. The colors translated beautifully. As you may have experienced with other rug companies, that is not always the case. It’s such a reassuring feeling when you know you are getting what you are seeing and paying for. With Revival rugs, that is most definitely the case.
